Fine Art Using Found Elements
Niki Heddle is a multimedia artist who combines a delicate mixture of natural and manmade found objects. Her current work explores a connection with fantasy, and innate creative freedom felt in childhood. Her whimsical style is displayed as micro environments which resemble tiny worlds that are simple yet complicated. The small scale and detail of her work, invites the viewer to get close and intimate with each piece.
Aside from her commercial art, Niki has completed two artists residencies in France and more recently an Exhibition at the The Guild in Charlottetown, PE. Born in Ontario she has been a resident of Prince Edward Island since 2001 where she currently lives with her partner surrounded by the magical inspiration of the woods along Wheatley River.
